Frequent and urgent urination is a real medical condition. Symptoms include a strong, sudden urge to urinate, frequent urination, and awakening at night to urinate. Those suffering from overactive bladder may feel as if they are always running to the bathroom or unable to sit through a social function. They may isolate themselves to prevent embarrassment in social situations.
We are conducting a research study for overactive bladder that includes nighttime urgency and frequent urination.
You may qualify if you:
- Have had overactive bladder symptoms for at least three months
- Willing to attend 5 office visits over a 16-week period
- Have no other uncontrolled medical problems causing these symptoms
- Are generally healthy
Qualified participants may receive study-related medical care and study medication or placebo (an inactive look-alike pill) at no cost, as well as compensation for time and travel.
If you are interested in participating in this research study, please fill out the brief form to the right. Or, call the Recruiting Coordinator at (305) 445-5637
